Android Market Finance App: PiggyBelt Review

A couple of weeks ago we reviewed an Android Finance app called “EasyMoney 1.0″.  It’s a good app, but recently we found one that rivals it, and in some places goes beyond…and for far less money than the $9.95 that EasyMoney 1.0 is asking for.

PiggyBelt is a premium Android Finance app that does all the great things that its competitors in a simpler way.  The difference is the price.  For $1.00 you can download this Android app and immediately start reaping the benefits.  While it’s true that PiggyBelt is not a “full-up” finance app, it does what it’s supposed to do.  It tracks your expenses and keeps in the black and far away from the red.  It’s the best budgeting and expense tracking app that we have found on the Android Market via Google Play and at the BEST price.

Features of the Android Finance App, PiggyBelt include:

-Categorize your spending by simply tapping where your expenditures is going.  Categories include:  General spending, clothes, food, shopping, household, hobbies, the honey (significant other!), travel, personal, fuel and more!

-Simple cost input after the category is picked from a traditional numeric touch pad that is responsive!

-By date categorized expenditures so that you can track trends and daily spending limits.

-Bar graphed reports to show you were most of your money is going.  Great for historical data and future budgeting plans when money gets tight.

PiggyBelt currently has a 4.7 out of 5 Star rating on the Google Play review tab for this app.

Final Analysis:

PiggyBelt is the kind of Android app that we like here at Android Market Central.  It’s tightly packaged, responsive, and it does its job.  You can find more comprehensive finance apps on the Android Market than PiggyBelt, but you won’t find one that is better programmed and better at the job it is supposed to do.  Great app that will make waves pretty soon!
