Let’s Make it Night! Dark Summoner App Review for Android
There are a lot of Android games that were seemingly inspired by Magic: The Gathering and Dark Summoner for Android is no different. Yeah, this app made waves with the iOS and along with games like Rage of Bahamut and Kingdoms at War, this genre of game on the Google Play store is earning more and more popularity.
The basis is simple: You’re a summoner and when I first checked out the app I immediately thought of the Pokemon cards and Nintendo games that my kids couldn’t get enough of when they were younger. (Truth be told, I actually had a level 85 Pikachu on one of my daughter’s Nintendo Game Boy.
Instead of summoning cute little Pokemon, though, you get to summon gigantic, war beasts of terror and turmoil. You also get to complete quests and level up, just like you’d expect.

Currently, Dark Summoner for Android has 4.5 out of 5 Star rating on the Google Play review section with over 11,500 reviews as of the date of this publication.
Final Analysis:
It’s FREE and that’s great. We especially love the fact that the developer likes to point out that this is an app that you don’t need to spend hours playing to enjoy. As far as Android game apps go, this is one that we were pleasantly surprised with. It’s different and in-depth, but not so much so that your life needs to change to really get into it. Great App!
