Order & Chaos Online Review

Here we go again. Against every fabric in our beings, we are (again) going to endorse an Android game app that costs more money than we think any app should.  And this one even has a monthly subscription fee.  So, yeah, we’re having a hard time doing this.  All that being what it is, we can’t find a reason to not pay for our Order & Chaos subscription once it becomes time to renew.

You see, the $6.99 purchase price of Order & Chaos Online ($4.99 at the Developer site) comes with 3 FREE months of subscription.  After that you’ll have to pay $.99 for every month that you want to play the game.  But believe me:  That $.99 will provide countless hours of the best MORPG (multiplayer online role playing game) that the Android Market may have to offer.  Keep in mind that a WiFi connection and a Gameloft LIVE account are necessary for game play on Android devices.

Features of Order & Chaos Online for Android include:

*Four races to choose from.  Humans and Elves are fighting on the side of Order (of course) and the Orcs and Undead for Chaos, naturally. (Or…is it unnatural?)

*Choose your gender, appearance, talents and class.  The combinations, skills and pieces of equipment that are available are vast, providing innumerous hours of game play.

*Wanna’ play longer?  Create up to 4 different characters.  Try all the races, combinations and factions out!

*You won’t be alone.  Make friends and enemies.  Trade goods and equipment and duel to see who the best is.  It’s a world with many different interactions available.

*Choose to join a guild for strength in numbers or choose to campaign alone.  We recommend joining guilds and finding friends, though.  You’ll need them eventually.

*Majestic graphics for you to travel through include; forests, deserts, jungles, mountains and more.  Travel by foot or magic.  The foot travel will be interesting at first but you’ll be craving for “fast travel” before long.

*Find quests to perform (over 500!) by talking and interacting with in-game characters.

“This game is truly epic. I cannot believe how smooth it runs on my droid bionic. Even runs great on 4g. Graphics are awesome and there is tons of gear and weapons. 5 stars once they fix force close on text and add group find for dungeons and mounts. Luckily that stuff is on the way!”

Final Analysis:

Okay, ready?  It’s a World of Warcraft rip-off.  From the world it takes place in to the user game interface.  It smells of WOW in every shape and form, IMO.  But guess what?  It’s just as freakin’ good, too!  I mean for an online MORPG on my smart phone?  Hell, yeah!  The best thing is that the Samsung Galaxy S III that I’m currently rocking can handle the game fine.  It does force close on occasion and I can see how some other devices would have issues running the game.  I’m going to give Order & Chaos Online a big AAA (Awesome Android App) rating, though.  It’s just much fun and well put together.  Gameloft has a winner DESPITE the high cost.  Worth every penny!
