Rampage Punch, Punch The Hell Out of Nothing!
Think you can hang with a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion? Oh, yeah? Then download Rampage Punch from the Google Play app store and get in on this Android app that will have you breathing heavy. You’ll try to break your own records but I doubt you’ll ever be able to hang with “Rampage” himself.
Or maybe you can. If so, congratulations. (sarcasm)
Rampage Punch takes cutting edge technology and gauges how hard you can actually throw a punch. In my opinion, this is the type of app that the boys from “Jersey Shore” could probably fall in love with and fist pump too for hours. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or bad, but let’s just say that Rampage Punch for Android is a mindless game.
Features of the Android App Rampage Punch include:
Action Effects: When you launch the app you’ll the option of choosing the kind of material you want to “hit”. The sound effects include glass, wood, or metal. Again, kind of mindless and the kind of app that college frat meatheads will spend all night around a keg with.
Knock Out “Statistics”: (Can’t believe I’m actually reviewing this app!) Rampage Punch records your reaction time and your punch force to give you an overall punch percentage rating. You’ll know instantly if you can strike like a champ – or couldn’t punch your way out of a field full of daises.
Rampage Punch currently has a 4.6 out of 5 star rating on the Google Play review section and has only 25 reviews.
Thank goodness there aren’t more people actually using this app and actually feeling the need to come back and say stuff like “the punching game is real good”.
What People who actually use this Android App are saying:
“Why does it need all those permissions? It’s making me very uncomfortable. Why does it need to take pictures, videos and record audio? Recieve and process SMS? Read and write contact data? Identify my phone number and serial number? Modify/delete USB and SD card contents? It’s a fun app but until these permissions are removed I won’t use it.” Alexander-8 June 2012
“Dude, best app ever.” Omar-10 June 2012 (Dude, Omar…no it’s not, dude!)
Final Analysis:
I’ve never done a review like this before. It was my aim when starting this site that I would do my best to point out good and bad features of every app that I came across and let the reader decide for themselves…but not this time. I can’t allow Android users to go to Google Play and download this “Sports Games” app and think they’re going to be doing…well, sports. This app turns a $300 smart phone into an over-celebrate Wii controller. Bad app.
